This position is responsible for supervising and supporting the Retail Operations team by helping manage day-to-day workflow, solve problems and offering all trainings. Contributes to the financial success by supporting all revenue and operating areas.
Job Class: Full Time
Hiring Range: $25.00-$27.00
Work Schedule: Includes 1 weekend day
Direct Reports: Employees in Retail Shops, Deli, Cafe, Infinity and Coffee Lab
Essential Duties
- Assists the Retail Operations Director and Manager in organizing, planning and implementing goals for the department, including leading special projects.
- Develops and implements register training and protocols, possessing strong POS skills.
- Completes monthly reconciliation reports for finance department.
- Adopts a culture of continual process improvement and best practice, able to proactively problem
solve. - Excellent problem solving skills to effectively deal with challenging situations when they arise.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, may need to deal with multiple issues at any given time.
- Articulates ideas and thoughts clearly both verbally and in writing. Has strong communication skills.
- Provides point of contact for process related questions or issues and facilitates process related
meetings. - Ensures health and food safety guidelines are enforced in each venue.
- Works as a floor supervisor in all retail operations areas. Physically present in areas, especially
during busy periods (weekends, holidays, summer and winter breaks). - Acts as Manager on Duty in all Retail Operations venues as needed. Able to problem solving
scheduling needs. - Trains staff in customer service standards, as well as POS systems, and job specific skills needed for each area.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment.
- 6 months’ experience supervising or overseeing the work of a team.
- Evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to pass all required food, liquor and safety certifications

- Experience with creating appealing innovative displays
- Knowledge of Galaxy POS system
