Job Description Summary
The Vascular Territory Manager will be responsible for attaining sales goals established by the Company within the designated territory and budget. You will be responsible for increasing sales of current accounts and establishing new accounts. You will also be responsible for presenting, educating, and providing in-services on the processes/procedures of properly using the Company’s products to surgeons, OR staff, and other individuals. In addition, they will develop relationships with key customers within their assigned territory and act as a liaison between sales representatives and marketing.Job Description

The Vascular Territory Manager will be responsible for attaining sales goals established by the Company within the designated territory and budget. You will be responsible for increasing sales of current accounts and establishing new accounts. You will also be responsible for communicating, educating, and providing in-services on the proper use of the Company’s products to physicians, OR staff, and other medical staff.
In addition, the Vascular Territory Manager will develop relationships with key customers within their assigned territory and act as a liaison between sales representatives and marketing.
Responsibilities:
Sells the entire product line to current and new accounts.
Informs customers of new and current pricing, backorders, and company policies.
Drives comprehensive in-service of products to all concerned individuals.
Plans sales calls on a continuous basis, managing sales time effectively.
Develops thorough knowledge of all products and clinical data.
Informs Regional Manager of significant market changes and competitive activity.
Achieves prompt, mutually satisfactory solutions to customer complaints.
Analyzes customer needs and creates solutions.
Maintains company automobile and company property.
Establishes strong customer relationships by providing education and clinical assistance to meet the needs of patients and customers.
Coordinates scheduling of surgeries using BDPI products.
Assists with inventory management at each hospital within their territory.
Completes and processes BDPI reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.]
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Qualifications:
2 years of outside sales experience required. Medical Device Sales experience preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
Surgical procedure knowledge, adequate to illustrate our product benefits
Basic anatomy, medical and surgical terminology
Detailed understanding of needs/analysis selling
Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills
Understands contract administration
Must be able to travel often
Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards.
