Job Summary

The MTC Regional Briefing Coordinator is responsible for program and associate development within the Technology Centers Briefing Coordinator division in Eastern Region. The responsibilities for this role includes; industry client & stakeholder meetings, scheduling & logistics, onboarding & training, SOP & best practices development. Cross collaboration with peers, management, VM, Stakeholders and MTC Staff to ensure continuity and prosperity of the Briefing Coordinator Program, the MTC’s and their customers.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the Director to ensure all Service Level Agreements and client expectations are met for the MTC Briefing Coordinators Program
  • Build and nurture long term relationships among Coordinators and clients, fostering a strong team alliance
  • Responsible for balancing workload of both the BC and Lead BC role
  • Assist in preparing documentation, metrics, ROB Prep, and other program related projects as assigned by Director
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry programs assigned to their group and make sure there is cohesion among Coordinators
  • Co-management of all high-level projects for the coordinator team
  • Co-management of the onboarding and training of new coordinators
  • Creation and management of program related training and SOP’s 
  • Co-management of all Compass led briefings, events, summits, speaker events & internal meetings
  • Attend client & stake holder meetings, building and maintaining those relationships
  • Co-management of MTC Non-Standard operational requests
  • Maintain role specific documentation 
  • Track, calculate, and maintain team documentation, SOP’s and specific metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education, Experience, Professional Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft products and current on Microsoft Industry Trends. Highly proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Able to quickly learn new tools/software
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Customer Service
  • 2 years planning experience.  Experience planning business events – product releases, Trade shows, conferences, etc.  If not large in size, must have experience planning several high-level events at once
  • Extremely professional and client focused. Able to interact with all levels of business clients
  • Strong interpersonal and hospitality / customer service skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills are a must (both verbal & written).
  • Must be process oriented, organized and have attention to detail, yet also be flexible. 
  • Self-motivated and able to keep up in a strategic and fast paced environment.  
  • Independent, yet able to follow guidelines well and shows a good sense of judgment.  Also able to work well on a team.
  • Comfortable communicating with a global community; i.e. various cultures and languages.
  • Organized and task driven.  Strong documentation and communication skills.
