RATE OF PAY/SALARY: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

General Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Controller, the purpose of the Grants Accountant is to provide post award administrative support in relation to Federal and State contracts. The position will assist in the preparation and analysis of reimbursement vouchers and monitor budget utilization.
Description of Duties:
- Prepares monthly voucher submissions to grantors in accordance with contractual guidelines and timelines.
- Monitor expenditures and budget allocations to ensure funds are used effectively and in alignment with the objectives of the grant.
- Maintain a database of grant financial documentation for audit reference
- Verifies reimbursement deposits and updates database accordingly
- Attend and participate in monthly department and other required meetings
- Be familiar with and adhere to all clinical, administrative, and general policies and procedures as outlined in the Cornerstone Policy and Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook
- Maintain confidentiality of all aspects of Cornerstone including, but not limited to, patient confidentiality, financials, and employee relations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-3 years Accounting experience
- Must be familiar with MS Excel
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Grant experience a plus
