JOB SUMMARY
Operator, USW - Irvington, NE.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, day shift with some overtime and callout.
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
Job Profile Summary
Maintain the pipeline and its supporting operational and monitoring equipment in compliance with regulations, company work practices, and safety standards. Ensure the reliability of equipment, and accurate measurement and quality of product transported through the system. Develop a positive working relationship with carriers.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Monitor all product movements in to and out of the terminal and/or station via loading rack, unloading skid, or main line, including: mainline operations, transferring product to storage vessels; making valve lineups, operating refined product pumps; performing product sampling, running samples for analysis on in house lab equipment; measurement of location physical stock, meters, and additive variances. Input information into computer programs and perform daily facility inspections.
Assist drivers and customers, perform truck rack operations duties.
Assist technicians with maintenance duties and perform general maintenance duties as directed by the supervisor.
Participate on the facility emergency response team
Comply with company policies and procedures, including System Integrity Plan (SIP) and OQ requirements and implement them into location work practices. Attend and actively participate in safety training meetings.
Perform any other tasks that may be assigned.

Education
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
Associate's Degree in Petroleum Tech or related field preferred
Work Experience
Three years' experience in a related field preferred

Ability to: to have regular attendance
Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers
Ability to: work in stressful conditions;
Ability to: adapt and respond in changing circumstances
Ability to: use a personal computer with the Windows(R) operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet;
Ability to: to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis, as needed
Ability to: work at the assigned job site.
