The Role

Flock is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our Product and Engineering team. After becoming the industry leader in LPR, Flock is launching a suite of interconnected hardware and software products that will provide law enforcement with the tools to eliminate crime. The Senior Product Analyst will help us understand the performance of these new products, answer strategic questions with analytics, and explore opportunities using data. This role will work closely with our Product team and will support key initiatives with market research, data analysis, and business case development. This role will also work closely with cross functional teams in business intelligence, finance, operations, and customer success to tell a comprehensive data story of our products. Successful candidates will have strong research and analytical skills with an interest in product development.

How you'll make an impact:

Drive the collection of product centered data to best quantify the impact of our products
Support strategic initiatives on the Product and Engineering team with market research, data analysis, and business case development
Generate insights for our Product and Engineering teams based on product data
Research market and competitive trends to help inform the product roadmap
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to develop product metric tracking tools
Facilitate business planning and roadmapping for the Product and Engineering teams
Support Product and Engineering team processes and tools

We're looking for people who:

2+ years experience in Data Analytics. Product specific experience preferred
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science. MBA Preferred
Experience with SQL - Google BigQuery and PostgreSQL preferred
Experience with Python or other languages for data analysis
Team player, willing to play the supporting role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to support decisions with data
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working understanding of financial models and business case development
Previous experience in startups or high growth technology companies preferred
Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships across the organization
