Maag is seeking an energetic, responsible individual to join our growing organization. The eCommerce Specialist/Photography Intern will be responsible for taking pictures of products to build our online marketing platform. This part-time, project-based role is ideal for entry-level photographer.  Responsibilities may include planning the photo shoot and ensuring that you get images of the product from all required angles and in all necessary settings. He/she will collaborate with various departments to ensure that all products are adequately presented and photographed for the company Webshop. Our ideal candidate has entry-level product photography experience, as well as entry-level photo editing experience.

  • Photograph parts; file and edit images
  • Collect product weights
  • Assist in the collection of product attributes and digital assets
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Project Scope

This project is expected to last approximately 3 months based on a 25 to 30-hour work week with a possible extension dependent upon need.  The work schedule can be flexible but must be performed during regular business hours at our Kent facility.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job in both a factory and office setting, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required.

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the intern is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is regularly active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The incumbent must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • The incumbent frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be in a warehouse situation and subject to changing environmental conditions, including but not limited to temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, and PowerPoint)
