General Summary:
The Sr. Business Intelligence Architect designs, develops, maintains, and supports business intelligence applications and solutions. This position is accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive data focused solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given initiative. Additionally, this position analyzes business intelligence needs and requirements and provides data storage, analytical, or reporting tools in response. Tests storage and reporting solutions for functionality and integrity, troubleshoots and resolves errors. Develops standard or custom reports, queries, or dashboards that access and consolidate information from a variety of data sources, and provides ongoing support for data users.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
· Demonstrates strong understanding of the business objectives of projects, and aligns the reporting solutions accordingly.
· Contributes to the short term and long-term data solutions.
· Implement best practices to ensure the integrity of data and quality of data processes.
· Define overall data architecture strategy, solutions, data modeling standards, and processes for the use of Business Intelligence.
· Uses best practices to gather requirements, model data, and implements a system that is highly performant and near-real-time.
· Develop Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) and other data ingestion solutions using a variety of tactics and tools depending on data requirements
· Develop highly complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and other SQL objects
· Conduct daily and weekly monitoring of the data pipeline and provide maintenance to issues as needed.
· Provides analytic support to all levels of the enterprise, across multiple service lines and business units.
· Develops measurements to support processes, analysis, reporting and optimization of clinical and business operations.
· Partners with the enterprise stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate generation of information needed for analysis.
· Promotes accuracy, consistency and standardization across the various types of analysis and data sources and various reporting tools.
