Scope Of Position:

Assist Corps Officers with all programming and administration assignments as described. Assist in the growth and implementation of The Salvation Army Gresham’s programs, policies, and practices. Position will require an emphasis on corps and social service outreach programs including, but not limited to: youth programs, seasonal programming, holiday assistance, and data entry.

Education And Work Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Oregon State Driver’s License.
• 2 years or more experience with Salvation Army programs preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate well.
• Bilingual in Spanish, helpful but not required.

• Act and dress in a professional manner, wearing a Salvation Army uniform when appropriate.
• Maintain a valid Oregon State Driver’s License and be over the age of 21 for auto insurance purposes
• Must successfully complete The Salvation Army’s driver safety program before driving and will be required to recertify annually as required.
• Working knowledge and ability to use computer systems, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of integrated database
