Product Program and Retail Coordinator - Part Time

Description

The Product Program and Retail Coordinator supports the Product Program and Retail team by assisting with inventory management, order fulfillment, e-commerce administration, shipping, and the operation/prep of the GirlScoutSwagon. This role assists the Director of Product Program and Retail in ensuring that Girl Scout merchandise and program-related retail items are accurately tracked, well presented, and efficiently delivered to customers and volunteers. This is a part-time position, with a maximum of 10 hours per week. 

Key Responsibilities:

Support day-to-day operations of the council’s retail program, including the online store (Shopify).

• Assist with maintaining and updating product listings, pricing, descriptions, and inventory levels in Shopify.
• Assist with the setup and support of new retail items, seasonal merchandise, and promotions.
• Assist with inventory tracking, counts, and reconciliation for retail merchandise.
• Assist with monitoring inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking or adjustments.
• Help maintain an organized, accurate, and efficient retail storage space.
• Support inventory preparation for council events, pop-ups, and program-related activities.
• Prepare shipments for customers, troops, volunteers, and internal council needs.
• Assist with resolving order issues or discrepancies in coordination with the Product Program and Retail team.
• Provide operational and administrative support to the Product Program and Retail team.
• Assist with special projects related to council retail initiatives and product programs.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to learn council systems.
• Basic understanding of inventory management and shipping processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Ability to lift and move retail merchandise and boxes (up to approximately 30 lbs).
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a storage or fulfillment environment as needed.
