How You’ll Make a Difference (Essential Functions)
The Human Resource Business Partner, Sr. is responsible for aligning employees and management in assigned teams with business objectives. This role provides professional level support in areas including employee relations, manager coaching, recruitment, accommodations, investigations, and performance management. This position assesses, anticipates, and serves as a consultant to management on human resource related issues. Responsibilities include communicating needs proactively within the HR department and management, assisting in organizational change, developing integrated solutions, and formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the strategic planning objectives of Agrace.
Key Responsibilities

Operations Support

Interpret, communicate, and administer current HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations. Seek guidance from management as needed and collaborate with legal counsel as appropriate.

Consult and provide guidance to managers on staffing, relevant policies and procedures, employee onboarding/training, and engagement and staff development initiatives.

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity, engagement, and retention.

Coordinate with appropriate leadership and departments to continually communicate organizational values and culture, as well as policies and procedures, to employees.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees to ensure compliance with applicable local, state/federal statutes and regulations, evaluate impact upon operations, and recommend policy and procedural improvements to management as appropriate.

Act as liaison for employee questions, complaints, leaves of absence, ADA needs, and return to work issues.

Support the recruitment and hiring process.

Document processes, cross train, and update HR team or other departments on areas of expertise.

Strategic Partnership

Study and analyze positions, and assist management in the development and revisions of job descriptions in standardized form. Assist in evaluation of jobs and wages using established systems.

Advocate for and promote strategies to enhance diversity (of culture, race, ethnicity, gender, ability, thought, etc.) as well as support policies and programs relating to equal employment opportunity.

Assist in the development and facilitation of supervisory training programs; identify opportunities for staff and management development to support changing business needs.

Analyze, propose, and implement HRM interventions on employee wellness, equity and inclusion, talent management, or other employee-related initiatives to support desired business outcomes

Partner with leadership and Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement strategies designed to recruit and retain a diverse workforce.

Recommend new approaches to affect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

Initiate, lead, manage, and complete HR annual projects
