The HR Generalist will handle various HR related responsibilities including but not limited to pre-employment onboarding, streamlining corporate policies and processes, employee relations, and terminations. We are seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who loves to continuously improve their own process. This is a key position allowing the right person great growth opportunities within the company.
The HR Generalist will handle various HR related responsibilities including but not limited to pre-employment onboarding, streamlining corporate policies and processes, employee relations, and terminations. This is a key position allowing the right person great growth opportunities within the company.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate pre-employment onboarding including new hire paperwork and background checks.
- Enter new hires into ADP and other applicable systems.
- Coordinate orientation and create 1st day details for new hires
- Process status changes, termination paperwork, and file Employee Action Forms.
- Update candidate profiles in ADP
- Grant access, update and approve employee timecards
- Assist in developing and executing corporate policies, processes, and procedures
- Create and send out employee check-in surveys and host phone calls to touch base with recently hired employees.
- Field/address employee questions, comments, and concerns
- Collect/file clinician documents and I-9 documents
- Create, organize, and maintain employee personnel files.
- Send out proof of employment letters, termination letters, and other items as requested.
- Submit and file workers compensation cases
- Create monthly newsletter and distribute companywide
- Interview employee of the month winners for inclusion in monthly newsletter
- Present for employee terminations to ensure proper protocol
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Work on other projects pertaining to Human Resources as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent job experience
- 2+ years human resources experience in a fast-paced/high volume setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
