Employed by PAGNY for NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, located on First Avenue & 97th Street in Manhattan, accommodate over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with New York Medical College.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a full time Robotics Physician Assistant to work in our Surgery- Bariatric Department.
Primarily responsible for promoting the development of a high performance team in the operating room, with a particular focus on optimizing the team's performance in robotic surgery cases.
- Functions as first assistant on robotic surgery cases and provides pre- and post-operative care for robotic surgery patients.
Qualifications
- BLS/ACLS certification
- NYS License Required
- NCCPA Certification Required
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
- Must have proven ability to work in a team environment
Previous experience in Robotic Surgery as a surgical first assistant preferred.

- Salary Amount or Range: $120,000 - $160,000
