Overview

Diverse Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist who will be responsible for the overall development, design and daily operational duties for Quality Assurance planning for the Information Technology Department at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC).

Job Summary: 

• Determine quality assurance methodology and techniques to be used in inspecting and testing systems. 
• Develop and implement the Quality Management Systems program, including include Documentation Management, Training, Change Control
• Audit Service desk tickets to ensure they meet documentation standards, SLAs, workflow (escalation and/or process)
• Develop performance measurement metrics for department/branches. Utilizing or developing source data, baselining performance and performing trend / data analysis 
• Audit workflow and processes for the department validating their use. Develop reports on workflow/processes not followed, making recommendations on updating workflow/policies.
• Support and manage department and project Risk and Issues. Ensure consistent updates, management and mitigation strategies are defined/developed, regularly updated.
• Lead continuous improvement of department processes, realizing efficiency gains, and ensuring team continues to meet expanding business needs with lean resources.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities: 

• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to identify, analyze, and describe solutions to resolve problems
• Ability to apply research methods and analysis techniques to identify patterns and trends in data

Education/Experience:

• 4+ years of Quality Assurance or equivalent experience.

Certification(s): N/A

Clearance:

Must have a Secret security clearance and be able to maintain.

Nice to have: 

Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Assurance Management, Computer Science, or related field. (May be substituted for relevant work experience).
