Front End Engineer

Cognitiv leverages deep learning artificial intelligence to build custom algorithms that more accurately and efficiently predict consumer purchase behavior. We combine deterministic data and advanced processing techniques to continuously train these algorithms as they optimize our clients’ key performance indicators (KPIs), predicting consumer behavior in order to autonomously drive full-funnel marketing performance at scale.

As a Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the client-facing interfaces for our internal platforms managing large datasets and AI tooling. This will involve working closely with UI/UX designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, as well as with back-end engineers to ensure seamless integration of data and functionality. You will be expected to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using technologies such as React, Redux, and TypeScript. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging and exciting projects that will require creative problem-solving skills and collaboration with other teams across the organization.  This position will be located in Bellevue, WA with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday).

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and scalable user interfaces using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Work closely with the UI/UX team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in front-end development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in front-end development using React, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Possess strong analytic skills; ability to inspect, analyze, and influence using data.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization libraries such as D3.js.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies such as .NET or SQL.

Salary

• $100,000-$125,000 base salary + equity
