Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all work orders and processes meet established quality standards and specifications. This position will maintain product quality, identify defects, and implement corrective actions.
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize a variety of inspection tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing devices, to measure and evaluate product dimensions, functionality, and performance.
Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, irregularities, and deviations from quality standards.
Accurately and promptly document inspection results, non-conformities, and discrepancies using designated quality control forms, reports, and databases.
Collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and quality assurance personnel to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent the recurrence of defects.
Participate in root cause analysis investigations and problem-solving activities to identify underlying causes of quality problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and verify adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
Assist in developing and revising quality control procedures, inspection criteria, and quality assurance documentation as needed.
Operate and oversee laser marking equipment to engrave items for identification purposes. Conduct troubleshooting and routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Adheres to training related to quality management.
Exercises good use of company funds and property within the set guidelines. Maintains an honest and professional attitude as the company’s representative at all times.
Contributes to a safe working environment by maintaining own workspace and reporting any potential hazards.

Qualifications:
Vocational degree in a relevant field of education is preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment or related field.
Experience working within ProShop (MES) preferred.
Ability to read engineering drawings
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience working with 3D models (CAD)
