Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient-Childrens Multispecialty

Inova is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for a full-time position at the Children's Multispecialty Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nursing and be dedicated to delivering high-quality care to infants, children, and adolescents.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm 

Work location: 8280 Willow Oaks Corporate Dr. Fairfax VA 22031

The Registered Nurse Outpatient provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.

• Injections
• Patient education

Requirements:

Experience: 0 years of registered nurse clinical experience. 

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Certification: BLS  for Healthcare Provider Certification required

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
