FLSmidth is seeking a Head of Enterprise Solutions. The person will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's enterprise-wide SaaS systems and applications. Leading a team of 20 people available in SLC, Tucson, and across the globe to ensure the seamless operation of critical business systems, aligning technology solutions with the strategic objectives of the company. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership acumen, and strategic vision to drive innovation and efficiency. Work in close proximity and collaboration with our critical Product business line and PCV business, which is centered around the US, to identify growth and revenue opportunities. Additionally, will collaborate across the organization to understand their software needs, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving innovation through technology solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for enterprise application systems, aligning with organizational goals and objectives prioritizing the NAMER region.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise applications.

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of application developers, analysts, administrators, and support staff across the globe.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the enterprise applications team.
  • Point of contact for NAMER region from the Business application perspective

Application Development and Integration:

  • Oversee the development, customization, and integration of enterprise applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of enterprise application software across the organization.

Vendor Management:

  • Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers for enterprise application software and services across the globe by prioritizing vendors in NAMER region.
  • Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of service.

Governance and Compliance:

  • Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for the use and management of enterprise applications.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data security standards, and industry best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholder in NAMER region to understand their needs and requirements for enterprise applications.
  • Liaison between IT and business departments to prioritize projects and initiatives.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

  • Monitor the performance and usage of enterprise applications, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and ROI of enterprise application investments.

What you Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within Business Application management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Technical expertise and minimum 5yrs experience in SAAS, Oracle ERP, Epicor ERP, Enovia PLM, D365 F & O, and custom-build applications.
  • Expertise in Integrations tools like IASS(Talend, Bhoomi,etc)
  • Ability to understand the architectural design and able to take technical discussions with architects.
  • Ability to connect the dots between different Business stakeholders and act as a moderator to bring in alignment across business lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
