Virbac is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join the Accounting team. In this specific role, you will be responsible for performing accounting transactions and processes to support daily operations and ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Framework and internal policies. You will play a critical role in Virbac's financial close process and will be a key player in ensuring the accuracy of overall financial statements.Essential Job Functions:
Provide management with timely and accurate financial information.
Research and analyze assigned cost centers and accounts to facilitate accurate reporting.
Manage Customer profiles and apply cash receipts from customers to appropriate accounts.
Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documents.
Preparation of monthly, semiannual and year end reporting packages.
Provide mid-year and year-end financial statements analytics.
Prepare reconciliations of various Balance Sheet accounts.
Prepare intercompany reconciliations.
Assist in R&D and Cap Ex budget process.
Supervision of Accounts Receivable staff.
Process Concur expense reports and record Concur T&E expenses in general ledger.

Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting
4-5 years of Industry Accounting experience
1-2 years of Public Accounting experience preferred
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, practices, and procedures with an ERP system
Hands on experience with an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Google Suites
