A day in the life of a Senior Data Analyst (Supply Chain/Logistics) at VF looks a little like this.

The Senior Data Analyst (Supply Chain/Logistics) is a key member of the Logistics team and will support the development and execution of product flow and fulfillment analytics to support decision-making across the VF Supply Chain and brands. A heavy emphasis will be on Logistics inbound and outbound data warehousing, data structure, advanced analytics and reporting.

• The Senior Data Analyst (Supply Chain/Logistics) is a key member of the Logistics team and will support the development and execution of product flow and fulfillment analytics to support decision-making across the VF Supply Chain and brands. A heavy emphasis will be on Logistics inbound and outbound data warehousing, data structure, advanced analytics and reporting.
• This individual will operate across a highly matrixed, multinational organization – with a specific focus on the EMEA region but also supporting the Americas’ analytics team - and help drive the organization's strategic advantage through more in-depth analysis (e.g. descriptive statistics, segmentation, trend analysis, forecasting, regression analysis etc.).
• Consult with VF’s coalition businesses to assess and address information needs, and for managing, analyzing, and synthesizing data into insights to influence decisions and action planning.
• Lead analytical efforts related to product flow and order fulfillment, network optimization, and various other areas within the Supply Chain to help drive our businesses. Additionally, he/she will be tasked with working with key stakeholders to build out the analytic capabilities within VF Corporate and Brand teams.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 5+ years of experience and professional achievements. 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• 5+ years of analytics, insights, and data management (MDM) experience
• 3+ years of experience with Tableau, Power BI, and/or other data visualization software
• 3+ years of experience in statistical modeling and analytical methodology including, regression, classification, clustering, time-series analysis etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and function in a complex environment with multiple constituencies.
• Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences.
• Ability to work flexible hours supporting EMEA region, ideally starting at 5:00am EST.
• Understanding of outbound logistics and all transportation modes within the EMEA region.
