Job Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are working with the Administrative team of the Portland Structural office to provide administrative support to meet the needs of the office. This position is full time (approximately 40 hours a week, M-F), in-person, located in the U.S. Bancorp Tower building in downtown Portland.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide coverage and support to the administrative team during general office work hours.
- Take point as the primary administrator for document quality control, revision, dissemination, and filing needs.
- Assist with career fair arrangements, office events, training and development committee needs, field trip scheduling, and miscellaneous planning needs.
- Manage office meetings - Send out appropriate notifications for upcoming events, including seminars, client meetings, and lunch & learns, and oversee meeting logistics (e.g., managing room reservations, inviting attendees, ordering food, registering guests with security, assisting with post-meeting clean up, etc.).
- Help with ordering and stocking supplies, organizing building access, managing parking/transportation needs and parking validation, preparing shipments, assisting with mail collection and dispersal, placing building maintenance requests.
- Assist with various committee and team project needs.
- Other miscellaneous tasks to be agreed upon as they arise, depending on office needs.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 360 suite of software (including Word, Excel, One Drive, and SharePoint).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams.
- Familiarity with the construction industry is a bonus.
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required. Continued education would be desirable, but not mandatory.

Compensation
KPFF Consulting Engineers offers a competitive salary and benefits package; the base salary for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
The expected range for a qualified candidate is approximately $52,000 to $58,000 annually (in the range of $25-$28 hourly).
