About the role

Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Savannah, GA is looking for a Facilities Project Engineer.

 

 

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • · Design and oversee engineering projects, ensuring they meet organizational standards, regulatory compliance, and technical specifications.
  • · Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • · Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed engineering plans and reports.
  • · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, operations, and external contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • · Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
  • · Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any technical challenges and making necessary adjustments.
  • · Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
  • · Provide technical guidance and support to the facilities maintenance team, assisting in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • · Evaluate existing systems and processes, recommending improvements for enhanced performance and efficiency.
  • · Manage documentation related to project design, implementation, and completion.
  • · Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in facilities engineering and project management.

Knowledge, Skills, & Education

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience in engineering project management within a facilities environment.
  • Strong technical skills in engineering design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and project management tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations
