Partner Business Manager<p></p><p><b>Description -</b></p><p><b>Job Summary</b><br/>HP are currently hiring for the prestigious role of Partner Business Manager for one of our most valued partner accounts. With this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day engagement strategy within your partner account. This will include working with HP’s strong end user sales operation, our partner operations team and marketing/product category function. Ensuring that we give the right level of support and assistance to your partner account on all relevant customer opportunities.</p><p>You must have a good understanding of the IT Channel and be familiar with the intricacies that surround a large corporate reseller partner.</p><p>This is an exciting time for HP and our channel partner community. We have some of the most progressive investment programs that are delivering significant results. But we can always do more. This coupled with exceptional partner relationships; we will jointly deliver a program of further success over the coming months and years.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b><br/>• Serves as the expert to the partners for advanced information regarding the organization’s offerings, promotions, and configuration.<br/>• Collaborates with partners to tailor solutions that meet specific customer needs, including customization of products and services to align with client requirements.<br/>• Collaborates with seniors to develop and maintain partner account plans to promote sales growth.<br/>• Works with a team of sales professionals to achieve assigned quotas while engaging in transactional and relationship selling in adherence to legal requirements.<br/>• Transforms potential leads into joint sales activities with partners while managing the organization’s sales funnel.<br/>• Conducts initial research on prospective partners and prepares proposals, quotes, and contracts for potential partner deals.<br/>• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment on partner-related initiatives.<br/>• Provides training and product education to partners to enhance their understanding of the organization's offerings.<br/>• Mentors junior team members, sharing insights, and providing guidance to support their professional growth and development.<br/>• Developing joint business plans and assist in developing marketing plans for each managed partner in order to meet agreed upon sales goals.<br/>• Maintaining appropriate Microsoft Dynamics account, contact, and engagement records.<br/>• Developing sales incentives for their managed partners in order to grow sales.<br/>• Providing input to sales and marketing programs, specifically with respect to market trends.<br/>• Monitor the competitive environment and identify competitive opportunities.</p><p><br/><b>Education & Experience Recommended</b><br/>• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.<br/>• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.</p><p><b>Desired Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Previous Channel Account Management experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Knowledge & Skills</b><br/>• Account Management<br/>• Automation<br/>• Business Development<br/>• Business Planning<br/>• Business To Business<br/>• Channel Sales<br/>• Customer Relationship Management<br/>• Market Share<br/>• Marketing<br/>• Merchandising<br/>• Outside Sales<br/>• Product Knowledge<br/>• Sales Management<br/>• Sales Process<br/>• Sales Prospecting<br/>• Sales Strategy<br/>• Sales Territory Management<br/>• Salesforce<br/>• Selling Techniques<br/>• Value Propositions<br/><br/><b>Cross-Org Skills</b><br/>• Effective Communication<br/>• Results Orientation<br/>• Learning Agility<br/>• Digital Fluency<br/>• Customer Centricity<br/><br/><b>Impact & Scope</b><br/>• Impacts multiple teams and may act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.<br/><br/><b>Complexity</b><br/>• Responds to moderately complex issues within established guidelines.<br/><br/><b>Disclaimer</b><br/>• This job description describes the general nature and level of work performed in this role.
