Job Duties and Description for BIN HANDLER/CONTAINER MANAGEMENT
1. Inspect, clean, and store returnable containers in designated location
2. Sort the container by customer & container type
3. Verify that the supplier code is correct
4. Remove external Kanbans / Supplier Labels
5. Ensure all curtains are properly secured and in good repair
6. Inspect the inside / outside for debris and damage
a. If damaged beyond repair, document, and inform the Lead Hand or Supervisor who will provide direction
b. If Kanban holder is broken, set aside and replace when time permits.
7. Report any live freight to Lead Hand
8. Perform packaging counts
9. Report shortages and overages to Lead Hand/ Supervisor
10. Maintain 5S Standard in the container breakdown area
A. Minimum Qualifications
1. 1 years related experience as a Shipper, Receiver, or Material Handler.
2. Successful completion of lift truck safety course.
3. Secondary school diploma.

B. Required Skills
1. Organizational skills.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
4. Knowledge of lift truck safety.
5. Forms, Labels, and Tags governing job function.
