The Opportunity:  As a Sr. MLOps Engineer at Syncro, you will lead the defining, implementing, and supporting of our MLOps pipeline and infrastructure. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineering and product teams and leaders, define best practices for ML solutions in cloud-native environments, and contribute to strategic approaches.  You will be a part of the Infrastructure team at Syncro to share best practices across Syncro’s infrastructure. Syncro is a remote first company, so you will be working 100% remotely.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• You will be responsible for defining, implementing and maintaining a complete MLOps pipeline to be hosted within the context of high usage scalable SaaS solutions. 
• You will collaborate with data scientists and engineering leaders to evaluate model performances in both experimental and production settings, and participate in model feature engineering efforts. 
• You will define best practices and processes to monitor and support ML-based solutions in cloud native SaaS environments towards high availability and performance. 
• You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to help define strategic approaches and milestones.

Must have skills:

• 5+ years of deep hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructures and Cloud native solutions: AWS preferred, but GCP or Microsoft Azure qualifies too. 
• 5+ years of experience with DevSecOps methodologies and tools, including Terraform, GitLab/GitOps…etc. 
• 3+ years of experience in training, deploying, maintaining, and monitoring ML models using Cloud native solutions, focusing on fully automating the ML pipeline: AWS SageMaker preferred, but Google Vertex AI or Azure ML
