Summary:

The TekniPlex manufacturing team in Holland, OH is seeking an intern who is prepared to assist with quality documentation, inspections, and batch record review. During your 5-6 months in this role, you will actively participate in building a Quality toolbox, filled with new skills, test methods, and knowledge of quality systems.  

 

Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:

• Review and verify batch records for accuracy and acceptance per internal procedures.
• Organize the physical document archival system and maintain the archival spreadsheet.
• Prepare, label, and record pallets of documentation for long-term storage.
• Create, review, and revise documents, such as standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and test methods.
• Ensure Good Documentation Practices (GDP) are followed in the facility by flagging corrections, removing obsolete documents from use, and controlling access to documents.
• Assist in the incoming, in-process, and final inspection testing on films materials as needed.

 

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or holds a degree in Quality, Engineering, or similar
• Demonstrated initiative, uncompromised integrity, and a results-oriented mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Acute attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong motivation and work ethic and the ability to work independently, ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines
