We are looking for a
SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
to join Metsä Tissue’s Supply Chain team in Finland & Baltics.
What do you get to do?
As a Supply Chain Development Manager you will play an important role in our path towards supply chain excellence. In this position, you will take care of developing and implementing efficient processes, accelerating development and continuous improvement of systems, automation, and data utilization as well as ensuring local optimization and development of supply chain operations based on common Metsä processes.
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Enabling efficient systems and data usage in supply chain.
- Enforcing increased usage of automation and system tools as well as integrated business planning principles.
- Ensuring implementation of best practices, ways of working, and common Metsä processes in supply chain.
- Acting as a change agent/enabler in supply chain related process and organizational changes.
- Being a local/regional anchor point for supporting ERP+ project work and deployment.
- Supporting Process Managers in implementing and developing new and efficient initiatives.
You report to VP, Supply Chain. The position is permanent and can be located in Espoo, Tampere or Mänttä.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Supply Chain Development Manager who is an experienced change manager and agent, capable of navigating and leading complex transformations within our supply chain operations. You possess excellent process understanding and knowledge, enabling you to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions. You are also a good and motivating communicator, able to inspire and engage your team and stakeholders towards achieving common goals.
In order to succeed you:
- Have a master’s degree in technology, engineering, or business.
- Have +5 years of relevant experience in supply chain consulting and/or core supply chain functions.
- Have team leading experience.
- Are familiar with SAP or some other operating system.
- Are comfortable with IT, systems, and automation-based solutions, leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation within the supply chain.
- Are fluent in English language (written and spoken).
