What is special about this role?

You will be leading the Solutions product group at Helix, developing innovative applications and interoperability solutions for our population genomics partners and patients. Working with a world-class team of technical program managers, solutions engineers, and scientists, you will be empowering Helix customers and partners to advance the state of genomic health, helping transform genetic insights into standard of care. As Director, Product Management - Solutions, you will:

• Establish the strategy, vision, and roadmap for interoperability products at Helix
• Lead the Solutions organization on partner sales and ideation, technical development and validation, and launch and operations of new products
• Incorporate EHR platform technologies with customer needs to drive development
• Drive execution by guiding sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily standups to ensure a steady flow and success of the team’s work
• Lead day-to-day operations troubleshooting and escalations for partner solutions and systems
• Define go-to-market alongside commercial stakeholders and external partners
• Work across functional boundaries — Science and Engineering, Security and Privacy, Commercial and Clinical — to synthesize requirements and build a cohesive whole
• Operate with a growth mindset in a constantly evolving ecosystem of customers, technology choices, and rapid business decision making
• Attract, build, manage, and coach a talented team of technical program managers for the partner solutions team
• Ensure the organization is effective and healthy by establishing clear and measurable goals

About You:

• 8+ years of relevant Product Management or applicable experience, including 5+ years leading both individual contributors and managers
• Expertise working with healthcare data; well-versed in modern interoperability approaches
• Expertise launching applications and services with Epic, Cerner, and other EHR systems
• Experience developing impactful relationships with health systems in a customer-facing role
• Experience working with health care regulations, including HIPAA, as well as data privacy frameworks including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR
• Proven track record defining, shipping, and operating successful health care products
• Extremely strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience with Scrum as an Agile Product Owner
• Intense attention to detail
• A passion for genomics, genetic testing, life sciences, and public health

Pluses:

• Experience with genomics and genomics interoperability
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

Expected Pay For This Role:

There are 3 distinct parts to your Helix offer: 1) Base Salary  2) Annual Bonus 3) Equity 

Expected Helix Base: $171,000 - $274,500

Expected Helix Discretionary Annual Bonus: 20% of your annual salary
