About the role

Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in New England. As a Program Manager with Resource Innovations, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and have primary responsibility for delivering clean energy programs. The successful candidate will manage, lead, and mentor a dynamic team by setting and reviewing performance standards and objectives for direct reports and create effective delivery teams. You will lead process improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency, quality assurance and quality control. You will analyze business processes, using process mapping, data analysis tools and collaborate with cross functional teams to write, train and establish policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for developing short and long-term implementation plans, leading program implementation activities, and reporting to support these efforts.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide strategic team and client leadership, primarily for our New England Tri-State work.
  • Support program design including the development of work plans to meet goals, aligning staff assignments, managing programs to goal, and providing accurate forecasting, both internally and to clients.
  • Communicate clearly & effectively using data to build credibility while maintaining a high-level storyline.
  • Identify, define, quantify, track, and drive program deliverables to be submitted accurately and on time.
  • Continuously assess project progress to goals and develop innovative and creative solutions to new issues and/or market dynamics.
  • Develop, manage, and foster partnerships with subcontractors, community groups, and other industry affiliates/stakeholders.
  • Manage client expectations, satisfaction, communications, and resolve and/or escalate client issues.
  • Interface with key internal departments such as IT, Marketing, Finance and HR to meet program needs.
  • Possibly manage one to three staff members
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • A Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business, energy, engineering, or related field of study required; a Masters degree in a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in energy-efficiency or a related field required, experience with utility energy conservation programs preferred.
  • Direct supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing project scopes, budgets and plans.
  • Excellent project and program management skills
  • Proficient in establishing job and work process flows
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task while consistently meeting deadlines with accuracy and within budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, action-oriented attitude showing initiation and creativity
  • Client service focus
  • Ability to collaborate well at all levels within an organization and be a team-player
  • Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools
  • Proficient in data analysis and Excel
