The Job:  

As a Finance Director, Strategic Sourcing, you’ll be part of our Global Supply Chain Operational Finance team working as a hybrid employee.    You’ll get to:  

• Responsible for leading over $3B of Supplier Sourcing Analytics, Decisions and Finance Reporting. 
• Supports the Strategic Sourcing Vice President for Commodities and Logistics, and leads several Finance associates in support of our various Supplier Sourcing Categories. 
• Implement contract analytics, generate cash flow studies and partner with Sourcing Leaders on establishing sourcing strategies.
• Develop annual operating plan focused on cost reduction possibilities and macro-economic variables. 

• Create standard reporting processes, business reviews & rhythms, and consistent performance expectations. 

• Establish challenging, yet achievable financial goals related to product cost reduction (year-over-year). 

• Drive working capital improvement initiatives around inventory, logistics and payment terms. 

• Improve comprehensive financial modeling tools to facilitate sourcing decisions with cash flow analytics. 

• Develop make vs. buy financial models, coordinating with internal factory management and 3rd party quotes. 

• Participate and engage in Sourcing Strategies and supplier negotiations, challenging the status quo. 

• Identify adequate financial variance explanations along with credible corrective action plans. 

• Manage cost reduction database and operating parameters for entire Sourcing Organization. 

• Implement technical solutions for data-mining, process efficiencies and streamlined reporting. 

• Support and/or lead senior leadership report outs, and other ad-hoc initiatives/responsibilities. 

• Continuously recruit and develop top finance talent, embrace diverse backgrounds and incorporate new ideas. 

The Person:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred 

• 10+ plus years of prior related experience 

• Working knowledge of ERP and Financial reporting systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Hyperion, Essbase  

• Strong Microsoft Office skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint 

• Prior experience with reporting from a large ERP system
