Purpose:

• Lead and drive the cloud security practices for BD STS. Work closely with the R&D, Corp Security, Product Security Office, and Product teams to define and maintain a world class security model for BD's cloud based product platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Core Team member for BD's next gen, AI driven, cloud services platform (BD Incada) supporting it's product portfolio
• Own driving the product security lifecycle activities for the Incada Paltform
• Execute assessments of current security architecture and develop roadmaps to address security risks
• Generate security baselines for cloud centric BD products developed or operating in public clouds (native or hybrid)
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Security leadership to align milestones and key initiatives to manage security risk for the Incada platform
• Work with platform engineering teams to define and implement security controls to ensure security best practices and industry standards
• Drive security tooling in the areas of tool identification, optimization/automation, integration into development processes, and utilization across BD's product portfolio - in partnership with BD corporate security
• Develop metrics and dashboards to clearly identify and drive, via data driven methods, clear actionable next steps reagrding the security state of BD products

Skills and Experience:

• Senior Level Resources with 10+ year in product security, 5+ years in public cloud security
• AWS focused with Azure & other cloud vendors a plus
• Experience with Regulated medical products desirable
• Connected Products / Medical IoT preferred with a clear understand of edge device management
• Ability to work with minimal oversight and can be self directed on a day to day basis with startegic directives as guidance
• Results oriented
• Ability to articulate and communcate strategically and tactically within a matrixed organization
• Healthcare or MedTech experience

Location:

• San Diego / Irvine with the ability to travel when required (10-20%).
