Job Description:

This is a senior level position in application/system engineering. Responsibilities include defining and debugging analog IC products, providing application support for key customers and technical training for filed application engineers. 

Essential Functions: 

• Provide on-site application support for EU Telecom, Networking, IPC, and Computing customers.
• Work with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing to define and debug new IC products in cloud computing DC/DC converters. 
• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes and papers in magazines and conferences to promote MPS products. 
• Design, simulating, and validating power electronics circuits to meet the required specifications.
• Provide power delivery network analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications: 

• MS in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• 10+ years of hand-on experience in multi-phase DC/DC development.
• Strong system level knowledge in cloud computing electronics.
• Experience using laboratory equipment, including oscilloscope, power supplies, function generator, network analyzer, etc. 
• Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills
• Previous experience in a power supply manufacturer or power management IC company desired.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The base salary range for this position in California is $140,000 - $180,000.
