🚀 About the RoleQuantum Metric is looking for a smart, motivated, analytical individual to join the Finance Team as a Financial Analyst. This person will support the team in executing on its vision of providing world-class financial and analytical support, insight and advice to support one of the world’s fastest-growing global technology companies.
In this role, you will be a critical member of a top-notch finance organization, and play a key role in building and executing on a set of scalable, sustainable and efficient processes and systems to support the organization’s continued growth. The Finance team helps other teams to develop data-driven insights about our financial and operational results. We collaborate with business leaders to impact long-term strategy and day-to-day operations. The team ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, while creating an environment where team members enjoy coming to work and are proud of our contributions to the company’s success.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Execute planning and forecasting processes across all departments to optimally align resources and achieve operational and financial goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to provide financial reporting, project budgeting, and future planning
• Work with the team to enhance existing financial models and drive the efficiency and sophistication of the forecasting process
• Partner with Accounting to provide support during the close process, such as variance analysis
• Support creation of internal and Board-facing reporting of actual performance vs. Plan
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making
• Partner with other members of the organization on special projects, as needed
• Be a contributing teammate, invested in ensuring a high-functioning, inclusive team

💡 Requirements

• 2 - 4 years of work experience in a financial analysis, business consulting, investment banking or other finance role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Experience with late-stage startups or public companies is a plus
• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Expert Excel/Google Sheets skills. Familiarity with our finance tech stack (Drivetrain cloud-based financial planning, Netsuite ERP) is a plus
• Familiarity with P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow statements; SaaS business model a plus
• Experience partnering with the business to provide financial reporting, strategic insights, support process improvements, drive operational efficiencies
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional analytical mind; able to structure complex problems into component parts

• Compensation: $80,000-$110,000 | Bonus Eligible
