Nemours is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Nemours Children’s Health team in Wilmington, DE.

Marketing Specialist

Under limited supervision of the Director of Strategic Marketing, the Marketing Specialist will map customer journeys, develop multi-channel marketing campaigns, and implement tactics for service lines, regions, initiatives or specific audiences. The Marketing Specialist will maintain collaborative working relationships with members of the cross-functional MarCom team, as well as relevant service line administrators and clinical leaders.


Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Marketing Director and/or Marketing Manager, work with representatives across clinical departments and administration, to develop, implement and evaluate marketing plans and initiatives.
  • Independently and with the Director or Manager, meet with service line administration and physician leaders to discuss growth objectives and marketing needs for priority programs and develop strategic marketing plans to achieve agreed-upon objectives.
  • Develop compelling campaign messaging and positioning that resonates with our target audiences.
  • Manage and track budgets for assigned programs and projects.
  • Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to guide the development of differentiated programs, insightful marketing strategies, and targeted tactics.
  • Regularly report-out to business partners about progress of marketing plan development and implementation.
  • Analyze and report on campaign results, including ROI, to evaluate success and guide future efforts.
  • Serve as a liaison to external agencies for media, creative development, and production.
  • Coordinate direct mail and CRM projects, working directly with vendors to determine costs, deadline, and delivery.
  • Work with photographers, videographers, freelancers, web developers, and designers, to produce campaign deliverables.
  • Coordinate special events such as seminars, conferences, and retreats, as necessary.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5+ years of marketing experience
  • Organized project planning skills with the ability to track projects and follow up with stakeholders with professional tact
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing digital-first B2C acquisition and retention strategies
  • Ability to use Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams)
  • Current knowledge of marketing disciplines and practices
  • Comfort analyzing quantitative data to draw conclusions and adjust marketing tactics
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing experience in healthcare or a healthcare-related field (e.g. pharmaceuticals, healthcare insurance, etc.)
  • Budget management
  • Experience developing customer journeys/lifecycles to drive acquisition and engagement
  • Familiarity with consumer app marketing
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and email marketing is a plus
