Job Summary:
The Customer Account Specialist manages both strategic and day-to-day relationships between the organization’s manufacturing capabilities and key customers. The role focuses on supporting customer requests, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of products and services while driving customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.
Essential Job Functions:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts.
· Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders and decision-makers.
· Identify potential risks to customer satisfaction and develop plans to address and resolve issues.
· Recognize opportunities to expand customer engagement by aligning customer needs with organizational capabilities.
· Manage contract-related activities, including renewals and administrative requirements.
· Provide leadership with accurate forecasts and insights related to account performance and growth potential.
· Translate customer requirements, technical issues, or concerns into actionable tasks for internal teams.
· Work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure customer needs are addressed effectively.
Schedule:
The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on workload demands.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in account coordination, customer success, sales, or business development.
• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track customer activity and performance metrics.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing customers, markets, and related technologies.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a U.S citizen.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience navigating government procurement or bidding systems, including automated or fast-track ordering platforms.
• Established relationships with government or defense-related organizations.
• Active Secret security clearance or higher.
• Prior experience supporting or supplying products within a government or defense-related environment.
