The Pratt & Whitney Oklahoma City Heavy Maintenance Center (HMC) Sr. Production Manager will lead a team responsible for providing Aftermarket Production Coordination, Planning and Scheduling processes to facilitate disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines at the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in support production delivery schedules.
What You Will Do:
Drive and Deliver Customer production requirements. Develop and enforce standardized practices, processes, tools, and methods across all areas.
Represent team in high-level business discussions.
Host regular staff meetings to go over lessons learned and training, as well as build camaraderie.
Assist in developing solutions for significant production-related problems.
Oversee a team responsible for Aftermarket Production Coordinators, Planner, and Scheduling teams.
Work closely with P&W Logistics Program Management team, other P&W Military Maintenance Services entities, P&W Support Equipment Operations, and United States Air Force personnel, to deliver an MRO facility that meets stated customer objectives.
Implement customer workscope into respective work control documents for MRO of engines, modules and/or parts.
Facilitate communication between operations, materials, and quality at the shop-floor level to ensure priorities are clear.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college/university with 10+ years of Engineering experience, or 7+ years with an advanced degree.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
5+ years of leadership and managerial skills is required.

Prior experience in process engineering and/or aerospace is highly desirable.
Knowledge and effective practice of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, specifically the practice of aerospace quality practices like ISO9001 AS9100. Including a working knowledge of quality and process improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN.
