About the role


Responsibilities:The Graphic Design Intern’s primary duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assisting three Senior Graphic Designers and one Junior Designer with day-to-day projects.
  • Creating and gathering images for catalogs, sell sheets websites, social media.
  • Taking photographs and editing/retouching in Photoshop for use in printed and electronic media as well for upload to the various websites
  • Creating and updating promotional materials
  • Participating in other projects (tradeshow support, videography, etc.) as assigned
Essential Skills:
  • Must have practical experience with graphic design programs (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) using a Mac computer
  • Creative with a passion for design
  • A strong understanding of design elements such as hierarchy, type, layout, space, balance, etc.
  • Able to participate and work well in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes.
  • Organized, dependable and detail oriented.
  • Strong time management, and planning skills
  • Curious with a desire to learn fast.
Additional Beneficial Abilities:
  • Basic print production skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Understanding of file sharing platforms (Dropbox, WeTransfer)
  • Proactive communication 
  • Troubleshooting, problem solving skills
