Job Description:

Gloucester, MA Located on Cape Ann, conveniently 50 miles northeast of Boston. Addison Gilbert Hospital is a 79-bed medical acute care facility that provides inpatient and outpatient care to residents of the Cape Ann Community. 

Come join our Steele 1 team located at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester. Our team is proud to be the recipients of many Daisy Awards. Steele1 is a medical telemetry unit with a wide patient demographic ranging from young adults to geriatrics.

Performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the nursing unit. Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families, and the organization of the patient medical record.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

-High School graduate.

-Successful completion of Administrative Associate training or previous medical secretary/medical records experience preferred.

- Medical terminology preferred.

-Computer experience required.

-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.  

Recent inpatient and EPIC experience preferred.
