About the role

As our VM Project Manager for displays and in-store customer experience, you lead the development, testing, and the roll out of innovative concepts geared towards commerciality, impact, and elevated brand experience.

 

You will work closely with all Retail Marketing functions. You will identify external creative agencies for the development of innovative and inspiring concepts. You will have direct contacts with Procurement and Suppliers to bring concepts to life in respect of timelines and budget.

 

Your role
As our Project Manager for Displays and Retail experiences: 

  • You develop new displays & sales accessories concepts, while enriching and rationalizing the existing offer.
  • You provide clear guidance (brief) to Retail Design for the development of new display fixtures, including windows, securing perfect product merchandising and interaction with both customers and sales associates.
  • You enrich the customers experience through clear zoning and navigation principles, as well as inspiring product presentation (in close collaboration with VM and Retail Com teams)
  • You secure brand relevance in every development, while keeping an eye on retail trends and monitoring the competitors’ landscape.

 

Key responsibilities and skills

  • You establish the business case for every new development, providing context, clear intentions, anticipated risks/roadblocks, expected outcome (KPIs), timeline & budget.
  • You identify sponsors and key partners for the development, pilot, and roll-out phases.
  • You develop the creative brief, considering input from all Retail Marketing functions, Retail Excellence and in some cases SVP for Product Design.
  • You identify external partners, share brief, orchestrate tender and validation process.
  • You lead the creative development process, including the Look & Feel (colour and material palette), the functionality, the overall consistency, and the harmony with the store environment.
  • You ensure perfect alignment with key stake holders and keep them informed along the way (status update through our GRM Project Tracker and PRM meetings).
  • You control timeline / budget and mitigate risks throughout the entire development process.
  • You orchestrate the validation process with the help of the VM implementation team though a “live” concept presentation at Retail Lab. 
  • You coordinate pilots, monitor performance, and adjust concept prior to roll-out.
  • You work closely with Retail Operations for the development of Ordering Guidelines.
  • You support the VM team with the VM guidelines for pilot and roll out.


Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience with project management in Retail, including development of displays and fixtures.
  • Visual Merchandising experience in Jewellery (big plus) and/or Fashion apparels in high profile retail brands with focus on premium execution.
  • Experience and good understanding of retail fixtures design and store planning.
  • Good understanding of Retail Operations and Customer journeys.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and capable of dealing with ambiguity.
  • International experience (or in contact with markets) in Global organizations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
  • Outgoing personality able to address leaders of all levels and with different personalities.
  • Perfect English level (both speaking and writing)
  • Strong in developing comprehensive briefs, guidelines and strategic presentations.

Your new team
It is a very exciting time to join the Retail Creative team in this role as we are about to pilot new concepts in our new CPH flagship, as well as developing our New Window Framework with expected roll out in 2025.


2024 projects will include the launch of the new Style Studio display concept (its monitoring and adjustments), the elevation of the PLGD and EVK 2.0 display concepts through a new color and material palette, and the development of the specific flagship display concept, among others.

 

This role is a maternity cover for Amelie’s position.
Starting mid-March 2024 and lasting approximately 11 months.
