Under general direction, responsible for maintaining data integrity of enterprise systems through administering security system access controls, user configurations, troubleshooting, documenting, updating systems, testing features, improving processes/procedures, and enhancements and modifications of applications.


Job Description
 

Overview

The Configuration Coordinator maintains, updates, and configures data integrity of enterprise systems through administering security system access controls, user configurations, troubleshooting, documenting, updating systems, testing features, improving processes or procedures, and implementing enhancements and modifications of applications.

Essential Functions

1 Configures, obtains, verifies, and transforms data and information into usable formats for consumption by internal and external users; ensures the effective retrieval of information from centralized information sources.

2 Manages reviews and monitors user access rights including annual periodic changes for particular systems.

3 Maintains the overall functionality and integrity of business and technical data by evaluating practices and improving processes and procedures.

4 Analyzes and reconciles data, records, service requests, and transactions, to ensure accuracy of data and to effectively maintain data integrity.

5 Assists, supports, and participates in data archiving and maintenance of data warehouse to include monitoring and investigating.

6 Creates performance metric and ad-hoc reports for management.

7 Works with development team to create and execute test scripts and scenarios to assure functionality and integrity of reporting solutions; meets with departments to analyze current business processes and brainstorm ways to improve; accurately documents changes and updates in Salesforce and provides training and meetings to ensure all persons are knowledgeable in the system.

8 Develops policies and procedures to improve efficiency and work with departments to update and standardize policies and procedures

9 Manages the content on the internal and external 311 Department websites and performs light service request configuration tasks as needed.

10 Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.

MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:   

  • Associate degree or higher in any field. 

EXPERIENCE:   

Three (3) years of business operations experience. Experience must include two (2) or more of the following:

  • Manages reviews and monitors user access rights, including annual and periodic changes for particular systems.

  • Maintains the overall functionality of business and technical data by evaluating practices and improving processes and procedures.

  • Assists with data creation and maintenance by developing software tools.

  • Creates performance metrics and ad-hoc reports for management.

AND

  • One (1) years of experience with SQL language

EQUIVALENCY(IES):   

  • High school or GED plus seven (7) years of business operations experience, including one (1) year of experience with SQL language, will meet the education and experience requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1 Knowledge of data security concepts and experience with user controls and segregation of duties.

2 Knowledge of data quality concepts and methods for improvement.

3 Knowledge of Customer Service Requests systems or Customer Relationship Management systems.

4 Ability to research, analyze data and compile reports.

5 Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and strong attention to detail.

6 Ability of understand and communicate business needs for changes or enhancements to system and manage those changes.

7 Communicating effectively verbally and in writing
