Job Description:
SPEECHCOM, INC is seeking a California-Licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve a school district in Downey, California. Immediate start through the remainder of the 24/25 school year, up to 37 hrs.
Rate of Pay: $35-$42 per hour W2 (depending on experience)
Job Details: Serving TK-5 at 2 elementary schools
The speech-language pathologist assistant (SLPA) must have:
CA state-issued license as a speech pathologist assistant (SLPA) required.
Must pass Livescan fingerprinting

Requirements
Required License:
Current California state-issued SLPA license
Skills/Abilities:
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Strong ability to recognize nuances in speech.
Basic understanding of the concepts of Speech Pathology.
Education and Experience:
Training in vocational school, related on-the-job experience, or an Associate’s degree required.
