OnsiteRaytheon is seeking a proven, high performing, Principal Specialist HR Partner to serve as partner to the Systems Engineering Organization. In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the HR Lead and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission
The HR Partner will have responsibility for the execution of HR processes and activities to support designated customer groups within Systems Engineering. The HR Partner will collaborate with leaders as an advisor and architect on topics including organizational effectiveness, change and talent management, organizational learning and development, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations. Additionally, through partnership with other HR Leaders, Business Partners and HR Partners across the business, this position will provide leadership and support in the execution of strategic HR initiatives such as workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and talent development. The ability to execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how HR can support business growth and performance.
What You Will Do:
Models Employee Advocacy behavior and serves as a trusted advisor to front, mid-level leaders, senior leaders and employees. Serves as a partner focusing on brokering solutions to business problems
Serves as a resource for driving a culture of Diversity and Inclusion
Executes critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management and talent acquisition
Collaborates with Center of Excellence Partners
Models consistent application of Raytheon HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions
Drives Talent Management strategies to include workforce planning, succession planning, knowledge transfer and high-potential development
Communicate and implement proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, employee communications, and diversity & inclusion in support of strategic objectives
Investigates and resolves Employee Relations issues and complaints and Ethics-related case investigations. Focuses on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a university degree with minimum 5 years Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of related experience
Experience leading HR related programs such as Compensation, Performance Management, and /or benefits
Experience coaching managers regarding employee performance, talent development and / or employee relations
