Lam Research is looking for an experienced Business Unit Partnerships Senior Manager to be part of a dynamic IT team supporting Lam’s Finance Business Unit. This position’s primary responsibility is the management of strategic initiatives and services that IT provides to the business group. The Business Unit Partnerships Senior Manager will be responsible for working across multiple groups, functions, and geographies to successful deliver business value. This individual will need to have excellent communication skills, determination, and perseverance to be successful.

The position requires a broad experience across core IT services, platforms and systems along extensive experience and knowledge of finance processes, functions, opportunities, and challenges. The person in this role provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. The role requires subject matter knowledge of the user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.

What You'll Do

• Lead the Business Unit Services Team for Finance, set the strategic direction for the organization in support of business objectives, and ensure the structures and processes needed to effectively deliver are in place. Ensures commitments are delivered & objectives are met.
• Set and maintain strategy for Business Systems and Services in support of Finance, ensuring the optimization of the systems across Finance and Lam.
• Deliver a combined business and IT roadmap to support Finance and IT strategy for the delivery of increased business capabilities, improved services, and reduced time and cost of delivery.
• Provide level 3 partnership, engaging with business leaders and executives to deliver business unit commitments. Executive alignment of programs and strategies across Finance.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional matrixed environment to deliver innovative services and solutions to business needs.
• Provide continuity and visibility across Finance and Lam programs.
• Interact, influence, and align with all levels of Lam management and executives while delivering services and capability to Finance.
• Develop the organizations skills, capabilities, and processes to meet GIS and Finance challenges and opportunities.
• Assist Finance with vendor selection and management major outsourcing and software agreements. Manage vendor engagements both within GIS and in partnership with business units for business specific resources and services.
• Develop business level agreements; report on GIS performance for services, programs, and KPIs; maintain a customer satisfaction score and
• Manages the budget, capacity planning, schedules, and resource levels for the organization.
• Demonstrates flexibility and resilience in response to changing or ambiguous work situations.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications 

• Minimum of seven (7) years of IT and Finance business experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in successfully leading and managing diverse cross functional programs
• Demonstrated business relationship management and leadership
• Understanding of Finance processes, challenges, and opportunities.
• Technical experience required; SDLC, Agile & Scrum methodology experience required Understanding of the business systems and services required to efficiently and effectively run finance with a background in SAP ERP systems (ECC and S/4).
• Strong cross-group collaboration skills and experience working across multiple teams both within the division and across the company
• Excellent interpersonal, human relations, written, verbal and listening communication skills.
• Experience managing a team directly and in a matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management experience
• Sound understanding and experience with SAP S/4 implementations
• Experience with designing business processes and how to design business processes with S/4 functionality in mind
• Constant learner and keeps up to date with new functionality in S/4
• SAP FI certification preferred/ CPA preferred
• Business knowledge of treasury, tax, FP&A, Accounting, and business process knowledge of a manufacturing industry
• Experience with FP&A systems Workday or Anaplan or SAP Analytics
• Experience in a global multinational environment.
