Senior Oracle APEX Software Developer

We are currently seeking an Oracle APEX Software Developer who is highly skilled in developing robust applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role will begin with a one-week contract focused on project estimation and feasibility analysis. If the project receives approval, the role has the potential to transition into a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using Oracle APEX.
  
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth functionality.
  
• Design and develop PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers to support application logic.
  
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of Oracle APEX applications.
  
• Document development processes and technical solutions to maintain best practices.
  
• Participate in code reviews and continuously seek improvements in development workflows.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  
• Advanced English Skills (both written and spoken).
  
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in software development, with expertise in Oracle APEX.
  
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, and database management (Oracle Database).
  
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for APEX customization.
  
• Knowledge of RESTful Web Services and API integrations.
  
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud platforms is a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
  
• Ability to estimate project timelines and provide feasibility assessments.
  

• A strong desire to learn, particularly in the areas of software development.
  
• Flexibility in adapting to new programming languages, frameworks, and data analysis techniques.
  
• Inquisitive mindset, always eager to understand and improve systems and processes.
  
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  

Contract Details

• Initial Engagement: One-week contract to perform project estimations and feasibility analysis.
  
• Potential Full-Time Opportunity: If the project is approved, the role may transition into a full-time position.
