[About the role]

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Finance to lead and oversee our company’s financial operations, ensuring that financial strategies align with business growth and objectives. The position holder would directly report to CFO / COO, managing overall staff functions, including finance, HR, security, and corporate development. This role will involve managing key areas such as financial planning, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and performance analysis, while also overseeing the preparation of consolidated financial statements and leading the external audit process. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, handle complex financial decisions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, this role will require a strong ability to foster collaboration between global teams, especially in the areas of finance and internal controls, and to provide actionable insights to senior leadership for business decision-making.

[Responsibilities]

1. Recurring Tasks

1.1 Monthly Financial Closing

• Analyze revenue, costs, and expenses.
• Prepare and review monthly financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

1.2 Financial Performance Reporting

• Analyze financial results, compare with targets, and identify variances.
• Report on key financial metrics (e.g., contract revenue, MRR, operating income).

1.3 Financial Audit Responsibilities

• Lead the external audit process
• • Coordinate with external auditors to plan and execute the annual audit.
  • Ensure all necessary financial documents and information are prepared and provided to auditors.
• Review and analyze the audit report, discuss findings with senior management, and propose necessary adjustments.

1.4 Tax Management

• Manage corporate tax filings and payments.
• Handle tax audits and resolve any tax-related issues.

1. 5 Budget Management and Business Planning Responsibilities

• Prepare annual budgets based on business plans, work with departments to gather budget inputs and ensure consistency with the overall financial strategy.
• Track actual performance against the budget, identifying variances and providing explanations.

2. Strategic Tasks

2.1 Preparing Consolidated Financial Statements

• Consolidate financial data from the parent company and subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS or GAAP for consolidated statements.

2.2 Internal Control System Set-up

• Develop internal control policies to prevent errors and fraud.
• Implement risk management systems for financial operations and document processes
