Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager
Reports To: Executive Director / Director of Operations
Job Overview: Silverlake The Family Place is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Manager to oversee our foodservice operations. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and ensuring financial profitability across all F&B outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of F&B service, including restaurant/bar, fitness café, seasonal waterpark café/bar, birthday parties, and events, to ensure quality and consistency.
- Staffing: Coordinate daily FOH and BOH foodservice operations.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise all F&B personnel. Conduct performance reviews and foster a positive, high-energy work environment.
- Financial Control: Manage departmental budgets, monitor labor costs, and implement waste-reduction strategies to meet KPI goals.
- Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and alcohol service regulations (e.g., ServSafe, TIPS).
- Guest Relations: Address customer complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a superior member/guest experience.
Requirements
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- The candidate must have a proven record of successfully working in the food and beverage industry.
- A person applying for this position must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team of employees. You must be willing to guide team members and train them so that they can perform their role more effectively.
- You must have keen business skills and the ability to meet financial targets.
- Familiarity with labor laws and the other regulations pertaining to the hospitality industry is a must.
- You must have the desire to deliver an exceptional level of customer service. have the ability to

- Working knowledge of various software programs (POS, restaurant management software)
REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the restaurant field
- Northern Kentucky Food Manager Certification required within 30 days of hire
- STAR (Server Training in Alcohol Regulations) certification required
- CPR, First Aid, and AED for the Professional Rescuer certifications (must be obtained within 60 days of hire)
