Qualtrics operates in a world where security threats are evolving, and being as secure as possible is paramount, especially for our government customers. As the Government Security Manager, you will lead a specialized team tasked with protecting our products and infrastructure for U.S. Federal customers. Your team will focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Security Engineering, and Operations to achieve and maintain government authorizations like FedRAMP High and IL4. You'll maintain company-wide security standards, lead a skilled team, and collaborate across business units to address complex security challenges. The impact of your role is broad—you'll help protect sensitive customer data, uphold the company's reputation, and ensure ongoing secure service delivery for our most demanding clients.
How You'll Find Success
- Proactive Leadership: Take the initiative, understand the expected outcome, get the necessary context, and work entrepreneurially to achieve security goals for our government platform.
- Stellar Communication: Communicate effectively at all levels and influence appropriately to build trust within your team and across the business.
- Security Expertise: Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the security standards and controls required for government authorizations, particularly FedRAMP High and IL4.
- Collaboration Skills: Work across various product units and government agencies to build strong relationships and drive security initiatives forward.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Possess strong decision-making skills, able to tackle complex security and compliance issues swiftly and effectively.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and mitigation strategies for the federal sector.
