As our IT Project Manager, you’ll be at the center of our most critical technology projects—creating detailed plans, guiding cross-functional and vendor teams, and ensuring every milestone is met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in risk management, compliance, and communication will keep projects moving forward while maintaining alignment with business goals.


Essential Job Duties

  • Oversee multiple projects from kickoff through delivery, managing scope, timelines, and resources
  • Lead internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and performance
  • Proactively engage change management and communications to ensure productive project kickoffs, effective updates, and smooth go-live support
  • Develop and lead go-live activities, including go/no-go decisions, performance metrics, and daily stand-ups—ensuring a seamless transition into Hypercare
  • Track progress, anticipate risks, and implement strategies to keep deliverables on track
  • Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders, providing timely updates and resolving challenges
  • Uphold quality standards, maintain detailed project documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations and policies
  • Mentor team members, foster collaboration, and drive continuous improvement through post-project evaluations and process enhancements

Requirements


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience successfully managing IT projects
  • Experience performing risk assessments, tracking potential issues, and devising mitigation strategies
  • Experience with evaluating, onboarding, and managing external vendors and service providers
  • Process-oriented
  • Knowledge of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and contract management
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in data analysis
  • Proficient with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, or Asana) to track timelines, tasks, and milestones
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Docker, or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with tools like Risk Register or custom risk management trackers
  • Proficiency with communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Confluence
  • Outstanding problem solving/critical thinking skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and excellent responsiveness
  • Top-notch time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment processes
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies
  • Skilled with creating clear and concise technical documentation (e.g., project plans, reports, risk management documents) to communicate progress to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
  • Ability to manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English in a professional manner


Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience successfully managing IT projects
  • PMI or Agile/Scrum Certified
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience leading diverse project teams
