Your responsibilities

 

• Manage and negotiate various asset based grid contracts, e.g. grid connection and grid usage contracts
• Cooperate, coordinate actions and develop new business opportunities together with other Asset departments  
• Develop and establish new grid contracts and topics for new business opportunities, e.g. H2, Masterplan and other Uniper new business initiatives 
• Secure regulatory and legal framework and also analyse grid related topics
• Secure regulatory reporting and market communication 
•  Act as the customer interface to the grid operator (TSO and DSO) 
• Improve asset base contracts expertise by sharing best practices across borders with international Customer Solutions team
• Ensure efficient management of day-to-day handling contracts with grid customer 
• Support contract management and billing (middle & back office function) 
• Identification and evaluation of contract related risks and opportunities 
• Provide commercial input for reporting & planning for grid related topics

 

  

Your profile

• University degree in engineering, economics, (energy) policy, or other relevant fields
• High interest in energy economics, grid topics and the relevant regulatory framework
• Know-how of energy markets (e.g. power, gas)
• Proven experience (>2 years) in grid management or a related role within the energy industry
• Strong customer orientation and networking skills
• Commercial thinking and high degree of self-initiative
• Excellent communication skills to interact clearly and concisely
• High collaborative attitude, ability to work seamless with other functions
• English and German as a prerequisite, additional language skills
