Transportation Engineering - Public Projects Intern
Benesch is seeking a motivated Public Project Intern to join our Railroad team. This role will involve applying project management techniques to support the public project team. As an intern, you will have the chance to collaborate on real-world railway and transit projects. You will support senior engineers with administrative support and play an integral role in innovative transportation solutions.
Location
This position will be based out of the Roseville, California office. This allows you to benefit from mentorship by professionals in the office during your internship at Benesch!
Travel
Monthly travel is required to our office in Houston, TX
The Impact You Will Have
- Assist with Contact Center Operations
- Will receive training to step in as needed
- Log and track all communications to deliver to the appropriate parties
- Support call center operations will be communicating with agencies seeking to work with our clients
- Manage various administrative tasks, including database management
- Support Project Manager
- Provide administrative assistance and project support
- Oversee office storage and filing systems
- Scan legal agreements and other documents into electronic formats
- Ensure all files are accurate and up to date
- Distribute documents to relevant parties
What You Will Need
- Must be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in paralegal studies or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively
- Availability for part-time hours and monthly travel to Houston
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the California Equal Pay Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.
